Karol G, Peso Pluma, and Bad Bunny Win Big at Billboard Latin Music Awards

Even if he can In his absence, Karol G reigned supreme at the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The Colombian pop star was awarded a total of eight awards during Telemundo’s Sunday broadcast, with Peso Pluma and Bad Bunny trailing far behind with six awards each.

His many wins include several awards for his collaboration with Peso, “Qlona,” which won two awards for Hot Latin Song, Vocal Event, and Streaming Song of the Year. Karol also took home the Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year awards for his debut Tomorrow will be fun run.

Separately, Peso took home awards for Male Artist of the Year, Mexican Artist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny was recognized as Artist of the Year, Top Latin Album, Latin Rhythm Album, and “Mónaco” won for Best Selling Song of the Year. (Neither Peso nor Bad Bunny made it to the awards show.)

The BBLMAs – hosted by Carmen Villalobos and Danilo Carrera – in Miami, also saw Xavi win the New Artist of the Year award, while Fuerza Régida took the Mexican Music Album of the Year award for.
