He’s a big fan of disaster movies. Actually, the first one Twister is the main reason to capture this impression of a lifetime. Therefore, I was always happy The twisters and when it hit the big screen, I was crying and screaming all over. Here’s the thing about disaster movies; many of them can be fun for the first time. Hell, in the decades I’ve watched/covered them, I’ve found that movies like this have to be pretty bad in order to not have the fun of watching them the first time (I can’t forgive you. In the storm).

Generally speaking, rewatching is where things go down or go up. The best Twister, despite all its flaws, it manages to be one of those rewatchable movies. It feels as good to watch it for the 50th time as it was the first time. So I was curious to see how the tracking would work. I couldn’t hit it again in theaters, but when the 4K arrived on my doorstep, I was more than happy to give it a spin.

Glen Powell as Tyler in Twisters, directed by Lee Isaac Chung.

Even if I can’t speak The twisters manages to reach the same level as the previous film, it holds up to multiple viewings. Hopefully it would have been better the second time around, as some of the issues I had when I first watched it weren’t a problem.

The action sequences keep their “holy crap” thing going, and the crisp detail of the 4K transfer makes the destruction pop in every frame. The amount of work that the VFX teams put into these behemoth tornadoes became even more apparent as I was able to reproduce the tiniest bits of debris. It helped boost my child’s energy, keeping the tension high, as I knew what was coming next.

The sound of the 4K release helps this effect quite a bit as well. Surround sound allows you to do just that feel the roar of the storm. You are almost right in the middle of it. However, despite the storms, I was happy to see how the conversation was up front, making it easier to hear everything when things got crazy.

Glen Powell’s crazy charm and chemistry with Daisy Edgar-Jones throughout the film manages to keep you invested enough in the film’s thin story to ignore how fast and loose it plays with the science part. (much like the first movie). These elements combine to provide an enjoyable experience whether you have seen it or not.

TITLE DESCRIPTION AND DIRECTOR LEE ISAAC CHUNG

Personally, the feature description and director is the highlight of them all. There are some interesting tidbits of information about how he achieved this sequel. Additionally, “Voice of A Villain” is a great look at creating a hurricane sound design. All in all, these are some solid behind the scenes games that definitely increase your income.

In general, whether you have left them The twisters at the cinema or worried about the wait, there’s no reason to miss the 4K Ultra HD release. The film itself manages to be very entertaining, bringing just the right amount of heart/charm to keep the disaster scenes engaging.
